The Minivator Simplicity 950 Stairlift is Minivators entry level straight stairlift. It is designed primarily for use on straight staircases but can accomodate up to a three step 90º turn onto a landing when fitted with a folding platform. It comes with all the safety features that you would expect from a stairlift manufactured by Minivator including: safety sensors, seat belt, electrical and mechanical braking systems, and lockable on off switch.
The Minivator 950 stairlift is powered by a 24v D.C battery that will continue to work, even if there is a power cut. It is available with four different height settings and has a maximum user weight capacity of 19 Stone (120kgs), allowing the Simplicity to accommodate a wide range of users and locations. Should there be a doorway at the bottom of the staircase it would normally be necessary to fit a hinged track fitted, however with the minivator simplicity and simplicity plus stairlifts it is possible to use Minivators unique slide track. This slide track removes the need for a hinge, instead the track moves up the staircase at the same time as the seat is moving, leaving the doorway at the base of your stairs unobstructed.
