The Minivator 1000 Stairlift is Minivators top of the range straight stairlift model. It comes with Smart seat technology, optional powered features and the sleekest track in Minivators range. Like the Simplicity models it is designed primarily for use on straight staircases but can also accomodate a small 2-3 step 90º turn onto a landing when fitted with a folding platform.
The Minivator 1000 has an optional powered footplate and powered swivel seat. Like all of Minivators stairlifts the Minivator 1000 comes with a number of safety features, including: safety sensors, seat belt, electrical and mechanical braking systems, and lockable on off switch. The safety sensors are designed to stop the stairlift if it encounters any obstruction on the stairs.
The Minivator 1000 stairlift is powered by a 24v D.C. battery that will continue to work, even during a power cut. It is available with a range of different height settings and has a maximum user weight capacity of 21.5 Stone (137kgs) - a heavy duty model that can has a maximum user weight of 160kg (25 stone) is also available - allowing the Simplicity to accommodate a wide range of users and locations.
The minivator 1000 is fitted with an ultra slim line track to maximize the space available on the staircase. If there is an obstruction at the foot of the stairs then a hinged track will be required - the minivator slide track cannot be used with the minivator 1000.
